Rebuilding Shenandoah Veterans Memorial Stadium
      Bringing back the stadium experence!

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: When the stadium is rebuilt where will our children play?

Answer: The children will still play at the stadium using the same fields they currently are using now. Once the new youth ball field complex is constructed at Big Gem Park the children can then play there and the stadium's baseball diamond can then be refurbished.

Question: Will the Shenandoah Indians finally come home to Shenandoah once the stadium is rebuilt or will they have to wait until the new youth field complex is constructed at Big Gem Park for the children?

Answer: The Shenandoah Indians can come home if an agreement can be worked out with the Shenandoah Recreation League that fits into the schedule and a 60' 6" pitching mound is installed. We want to see our Indians back home but above all we want to make sure our children are taken care of first. Both organizations have worked well together in the past and we are sure some sort of agreement can be worked out.
